You will be expected to come up with a team name prior to the draft. If you do not, one will be assigned to you. Each team owner will draft a 16 player roster, which will be your team until supplemental drafts or trades occur. Each team will play a regular season consisting of round robin match-ups with other teams. Weekly matchups are head to head with a winner and loser (or a tie) based on the IYFFFL scoring system described below. Your cumulative WLT record will determine your league standing. Teams with identical WLT records will be ranked based on total points scored by the IYFFFL scoring system.

Draft: The draft will be conducted on-line using CBS draft tool at 7:00PM US EDST, Friday 1 September, 2023 and will take about 3 hours. The draft order will be determined by using www.draftordergenerator.com for odd number rounds. The order for even number rounds will be opposite that of the odd number rounds. So the team with the first overall pick (1st in round 1) will not pick again until 2xNth (Last in round 2). We will determine the draft order ASAP, so as soon as each team has paid their entry fee, we'll draw. During the online draft, the first undrafted person typed in by the team selecting is assigned to that team, regardless of whether the person is retired, injured, dead or alive. There is no possibility of changing a selected player once he has been chosen (by the act of typing his name for the rest of us to see). For example, if you jokingly draft Terry Bradshaw, you get him and draft selection continues on to the next team drafting. This rule was voted in by the entire league during the 2000 draft.

Rosters: Each team will start with 16 players determined by the draft. additional players are aquired in conjuction with releasing a player to maintain a 16 player roster. Players are drafted at a specified position, with clarification by the commissioner as needed, any questionable positions must show printed (or on-line) proof that the player is playing said position. If a player is/becomes listed at multiple positions, the commissioner will clarify the player's eligible position(s). (ie. Tebow was a QB)

Schedule: The league lasts for the first 16-weeks of the regular NFL season. The first 14 weeks are the regular season in which your team will play all/most other teams twice. The next 2 weeks will be our playoffs with the division winners and 2 wildcard teams playing for the super bowl. Week 17 will be our pro-bowl, with the conference all stars going head to head in a double-roster size game.

Week 15 Week 16
Top Ranked Div Champ vs 2nd Ranked Wildcard Super Bowl (week 15 winners)
2nd Ranked Div Champ vs 1st Ranked Wildcard Consolation Bowl (week 15 losers)

Weekly Lineups: Lineups must be entered to the league service and starter status may be changed up to 5 minutes prior to game time for each player. Lineups must consist of

Weekly Lineup # Positions

Running Back (RB) 2
Swing Player, Any RB or WT (SP) 1

from your 16 player roster.

In-Your-Face Fantasy Football League Scoring System: The following points will be awarded to your player for each occurrence of the event listed. Trades: Trades are allowed at any time among any teams still eligible for playoffs. Any trade involving player(s) in active weekly lineups will become valid after all games have been completed for the week. All trades must be approved by the commissioner as to fairness. Trades must involve an equal number of players by each participant, such as QB for WR, or WT & RB for K & DST, etc. and must result in 16 player team roster for all teams involved.

Weekly trade to undrafted player pool: Each team will be allowed a total of 15 trades to the undrafted player pool during the entire season. This will be handled using a single Player Freeze Period (PFP) followed by a Free Agent Priority Draft (FAPD) or first-come-first served outside the PFP coordinated through the commissioner. The initial Free Agent Priority (FAP) Order will be reverse draft order. When the FAPD runs, pending requests are handled in FAP order. When a transaction is made during the FAPD Process where FAP is necessary to determine who gets the contested player, the “winning” team's FAP is set to last. PFP lasts from the start time of player’s game but no later than 12 Noon Sunday, or when a start caliber player is suspiciously (commissioner determined) dropped from a team to Noon Wednesday.

PFP Draft Exception:
A FAD will be allowed during PFP if
1. Acquired player is activated immediately,
2. Acquired player game has not started, and
3. Acquired player perceived value not has not been unfairly effected by events (recent news or injuries determined by commissioner)

NFL Players are placed on waivers under the following circumstances:

A player is released during a waiver process: A player released during a waiver process is on waivers for the subsequent 24 hours.

A player is released during a free agent acquisition: Requests for players not on waivers are not pended (they execute immediately). The player dropped in a free-agent transaction (i.e., non-waiver) is placed on waivers for 24 hours.

All Free Agents as of Monday night: After Monday Night Football, all free agents are put on waivers for the first day of waiver claims.

A team's trade to undrafted player pool may be traded to another team (not uncompensated) if both teams are eligible for the playoffs.

Cost / Payout: $100 upfront entry fee per team. Playoff payouts based on

(NumTeams x $100) - (16 * $30/wk) - ($20 * # player record payouts) - ($150 CBS Service)= pot

Monies will be held by The IYFFFL Commissioner, and distributed when the season concludes. All payoffs will be performed at the conclusion of the entire season.

$20 weekly highest score, each week, 16 weeks
$10 weekly second highest score, each week, 16 weeks
$20 best record performance, 1/week max
50%pot Superbowl winner
25%pot Superbowl loser
15%pot Consolation Bowl winner
10%pot Consolation Bowl loser

A "Best Record Performance" payout of $20 will be paid out to the team setting and claiming a top 5 all time performance in any player position category. Players on your bench are eligible. It is the Team Owner's responsibility to notify the Lasy Ass Commissioner (LAC) of any Valid Record deserving a Record Payout. If the LAC is not notified of a "Best Record Performance" prior to End of Season, the $20 is forfeited, but the record still stands and should be recorded in the archive

Playoff Games will involve a tiebreaker player. Any non-starter on your team must be submitted along with playoff lineup. The additional player score will be used to break any/all playoff ties in which participants have equal number of IYFFFL points. If necessary, a coin-flip will be used to break the tie should the designated 9-th roster players tie also. (In the case where a 9-th roster player is not designated, the tie-break position points will be 0 for that team.) Tiebreaker players are only incorporated into playoff games. Do not submit tiebreaker players for regular season weekly games.

Conference Divisions: Teams will be broken into (somewhat arbitrary) conference divisions by even/odd first round draft order. The Divisional split will have bearing on playoff eligibility, division champions make the playoffs along with the 2 teams that have the best record of the remaining teams (Based on overall WLT record, then total number of IYFFFL points, then coin flip if necessary). At most, 3 teams from the same conference may make the playoffs.

ProBowl: Week 17 will be the IYFFFL ProBowl. All team owners wishing to participate will work out a ProBowl super-roster consisting of

Probowl Lineup # Positions Score Highest
Quarterback (QB) 3 2
Running Back (RB) 5 4
Wide Receiver/Tight End (WT) 5 4
Kicker (K) 3 2
Defense/Special Team (DST) 3 2
Swing Player, Any RB or WT (SP) 3 2

players from their conference. 1 player from each position will be dropped and the final ProBowl team score will consist of exactly a double sized roster. The two conference all pro teams will match up in week 17. Each conference must contribute equally to the ProBowl kitty, and submit a single, agreed-to, ProBowl super-roster. Any team owner wishing not to participate in the ProBowl will have no part in selecting the conference Pros.

The commissioner reserves the right to enhance or modify these rules in order to add further clarification.
